Sephora x Toronto Tempo
ENVIRONMENTAL · RETAIL DESIGN
OVERVIEW
Designed a modular Sephora pop-up experience, built to travel alongside the Toronto Tempo for their inaugural WNBA season. The brief demanded a space that reads unmistakably Sephora at first glance, then unfolds into a fully branded partner takeover once inside. The resulting concept, Courtside Essentials, transforms each game-day moment into a high-impact beauty destination that allows fans to discover, test, and connect with Only at Sephora brands in real time.
OUTCOME
The resulting concept, Courtside Essentials, merges Sephora's signature black-and-white retail language with the visual codes of professional basketball: locker room shelving, hardwood court floor graphics, and oversized sculptural ball forms. Two modular configurations were developed: a 20×10 linear format and a 10×10 island, allowing the footprint to flex across different arena placements throughout the season.
