OVERVIEW
Working with adidas, I was given the opportunity to design the environment for their celebration of the WNBA’s inaugural games in Canada. The event spanned a weekend filled with activities such as keynote speeches from adidas athletes like Natalie Achonwa, a pop-up market showcasing women-owned brands, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament featuring a local girls' team. The goal was to create an adaptable and cohesive space that embodied the campaign's "Remember The Why" ethos, a collection and moment designed to refocus on core values amidst an era of oversaturation and sensory overload.
OUTCOME
The event was a vibrant celebration of the WNBA and women's basketball, drawing in guests with its thoughtfully designed environment. The adaptable space not only captured the spirit of the "Remember The Why" campaign but also provided a dynamic backdrop for meaningful interactions and memorable experiences. The design successfully bridged the gap between the event's various components, contributing to a cohesive and engaging atmosphere that resonated with attendees and honoured the essence of women's basketball.
